Mary works as part of the Communications Team to share OCCA’s thought-provoking resources online. She oversees multiple social media channels for both OCCA and Reboot. In today’s social media culture that can feel chaotic and contentious, she loves to share authentic and creative content that challenges deeper investigation into meaningful questions.
Mary joined the OCCA team after completing an undergraduate degree in Philosophy at Taylor University, where her love for critical thinking about theological and philosophical questions first developed. She is currently working toward an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine.
Although originally from the US, Mary has lived in the UK for the past few years and currently resides in Manchester with her husband, Slater. In her spare time, Mary enjoys reading the works of C.S. Lewis (especially Perelandra!), the gym, long walks with a coffee, and dreaming about her next trip to Scandinavia.
