Overview
If you are a Christian who wants to grapple with the thorny questions of today’s culture, this three-day event is for you!
Join the OCCA team at the beautiful Merton College, Oxford, from 11-13 July for our Summer Conference, where we will explore topics such as:
- Power and the abuse of power
- Cancel culture
- Racism and critical race theory
- Identity, gender, sexuality
- Questions of mind, body and soul
These are complex issues and you may have found yourself feeling reluctant to engage, or ill-equipped to respond to questions if you do.
Together we’ll do a deep dive into these important issues, to gain insight and understanding for ourselves, and to learn how we can have meaningful conversations about these topics in our spheres of influence. We’ll look at a framework for thinking through challenging questions and discover how we can respond with sincere, credible and helpful answers.
Conference format
Each day, John Lennox will lead morning devotions, followed by a variety of lectures, workshops, discussion groups and Q&A sessions. A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the time.
Event speakers include Amy Orr-Ewing, Lara Buchanan, Max Baker-Hytch, Rahil Patel, Sam Allberry, Sharon Dirckx, Simon Edwards, Tom Price, and more.
Event Cost
The Summer Conference is priced at £465 per person.
Accommodation and meals are not included. Please see further details below.
We want this conference to be available to anyone. If the cost is barrier for you, please get in touch about a bursary.
