This was our first time hosting a Reboot City in Manchester, and it was awesome! Similar to Reboot Reading, the youth engaged with topics such as natural disasters, whether we can trust the Bible, where God is in a world of injustice, what God says about abortion, the occult, the dark side of the porn industry and more! Every topic was delivered with care and sensitivity to the 12 – 18 year age group, while still not shying away from the reality of our culture they are engaging in.
They targeted a different side of faith that doesn’t get talked about that often.
A key takeaway for our team was that there are young people in the Manchester area who are hungry to ask their big questions and engage with challenging topics that surround them online and within their friend groups.
Reboot City is vital because our youth and their questions are vital. It’s not just an event; it’s a space where youth can bring their doubts and struggles, discovering that questioning is not a sign of weak faith—it’s a pathway to growing a stronger one. With over 60 youth submitting their questions, it’s clear that this generation is eager to engage deeply, and they need spaces like Reboot to help them navigate these big issues. These aren’t easy questions, but they’re questions that demand credible, biblical, and thoughtful responses. We look forward to continuing to build partnerships in Manchester so that we can reach more youth year after year with the credible, good news of Jesus Christ.
Some of the questions are what people really want to know, and whether you’re a Christian or not, its questions that need answering.
