OCCA BUSINESS PROGRAMME
Are you a business leader with a passion to make Christ known in the marketplace? If so, the OCCA Business Programme will equip you with new skills and give you the tools to share your faith in a credible, culturally relevant way.
Applications for the 2021 OCCA Business Programme are now open, please apply here.
Running for four weeks between Monday 14th June and Friday 9th July 2021, the OCCA Business Programme is a unique opportunity for business people and leaders from other professions with significant experience in their fields of expertise (typically at least 10 years) to receive top-class training in apologetics and evangelism. Teaching and training is delivered by world-leading thinkers like Michael Ramsden, Os Guinness and Amy Orr-Ewing, the faculty of OCCA the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics including Tanya Walker, Simon Edwards and Andy Moore, and a range of other specialists.
The aim of the programme is to increase your competence and confidence in sharing your faith in response to the difficult questions raised in the marketplace and by those who work in it. Coupled with an emphasis on spiritual formation and practical application, we hope to re-invigorate and envision you to share your faith more effectively and live out your calling in your work environment. This intensive programme seeks to invest in 12- 16 people per year, though the number of delegates may be higher or lower in 2021 depending on the impact of COVID-19.
The tuition fee for 2021 is set at £5,650 though scholarship may be available in exceptional cases. This fee covers lunch which is catered for by OCCA each day of the programme but does not extend to accommodation and any other living expenses during your time in Oxford which would be an additional cost for your consideration. We have a selection of options and recommendations for accommodation which we would be happy to provide to you if helpful. We very much look forward to your application which would be followed by interview with Business Programme leaders.
